Hacker News with Generative AI: Prototyping

Hacker Fab (hackerfab.org)
Right now we use factories and tools that are optimized to manufacture at scale to do our integrated circuit prototyping. There does not exist a set of machines that enable rapid tape-out of semiconductor devices on a budget, nor are there sufficient resources to make/modify fab tools from the ground up.
Jumperless Breadboard v5 Readies for Launch (hackaday.com)
When are jumper wires on a breadboard entirely optional? When it’s the latest version of [Kevin Santo Cappuccio]’s Jumperless, which uses a bunch of analog crosspoint switches (typically used for handling things like video signals) to create connections instead of physical wires. There’s even an RGB LED under each hole capable of real-time visualization of signals between components.
Jumperless V5 – Crowd Supply (crowdsupply.com)
Jumperless V5 is a breadboard where any point can be connected to any other with software-defined jumpers. RGB LEDs under each hole turn the breadboard into a display; paired with its assortment of routable analog/digital I/O, Jumperless V5 gives you real-time information about everything happening in your circuit and the ability to change it at a whim.
Ask HN: Kotlin SpringBoot vs. Python Django for Min Viable Product (ycombinator.com)
Hi everyone, I am a backend developer using Spring Boot and Java. I also know some Angular. I had an app idea and wanted to build out the backend in either Kotlin+SpringBoot or Django+Python. I already know Python from prior experience but was wondering which one of the two combinations would be faster for prototyping.
